Correspondence: According to Piagets theory children viewed rules handed down by authorities as to have a permanent life, are not easily changed, and require one to abide by the rules. The responses of the case study correspond to Piaget’s theory as we see the authority of adults to maintain that children abide by their rules, which encourages unquestioning obedience to those who enforce the rules. Young children believe that people view the rules on the same script and focus more on the outcome than the purpose.
