GEMO90008 -  Foundations of Spatial Information -     ASSIGNMENT 1 - ARCGIS PRO PRACTICE - Solved

1. OBJECTIVE
This assignment guides you to familiarize yourself with a GIS software package, ArcGIS Pro by ESRI. As with any other software used in university classrooms, the use of GIS software is not taught in our subject (neither in the lecture nor in the labs). Instead, these online tutorials should help you to learn and practise this tool in your own pace, at any time and at any place, before you are going to use a GIS for your studies. In particular, you should do these tutorials before the semester starts.

ArcGIS Pro is becoming one of the most common used GIS worldwide. Even if you decide later to use another GIS software package you should do these tutorials to gain a first understanding of GIS principles. These principles are transferable between GIS software packages.
