1) The user should have to login using CAS before being sent the HTML page for the temperature site.There should be two files involved in this part of the assignment, index.php that will be used for the login page and will contain your html code and then the javascript page that will make the ajax calls to your existing rest server. The html on your index.php should be the same html from the last assignment, you will just put at the top of the file the PHP to force CAS.
2) Create a log file called temp.log that records all logins with full username, uid and date/time. Also in thislog should be all rest calls along with the uid of the person making the calls. 3) Do all this work in Temperature3
