CS2261 Lab 13-Luffy Game Solution

The two Emperors of the Sea Big Mom and Kaido have teamed up to destroy the land of Wano and take over the world. Straw Hat Luffy is teaming up with Trafalgar Law and Eustass Kid to take them down.
Core Gameplay
The game will consist of two battles going on at the same time. It will begin with Law and Kid in a fight with Big Mom, where the fight will be mostly one-on-one, but Law has the ability to switch positions with Kid at any point so there will basically be two options of how to fight Big Mom at any point. Once Big Mom has taken a certain amount of damage, the fight will switch to Luffy versus Kaido. After a certain amount of time, Kaido will turn into a dragon and blast Luffy with a fireball that will essentially kill him, and it will be left to return to the Big Mom versus Kid and Law fight. Then, Law and Kid will be able to use their stronger moves and take down Big Mom. After Big Mom has been defeated, we switch once more to fighting Kaido with Luffy where he enters his Gear 5 mode with full hearts again. Kaido will be fighting now in his dragon form the entire time but Luffy will be able to do crazier moves like lifting the floor to reflect his fireballs back at Kaido.
Win Condition: Defeat both of the Emperors
Lose Condition: One of the playable characters lose all their hearts
Controls:
For Any Game Mode:
Start: Pause the game
Left: Move the playable character left
Right: Move the playable character right
Up: Make the playable character Jump For Luffy:
A: Shoot Luffy’s fist forward like it’s made of rubber to extend and hit Kaido from anywhere on the screen.
B: Shoot Luffy’s foot forward in a similar motion as his fist
Down: After Luffy enters Gear 5, pull the ground up to reflect Kaido’s fireballs For Kid:
A: Shoot a projectile metal beam at Big Mom B: Attack For Law:
A: Attack with Law's sword in close to mid range to Big Mom
B: Attack Big Mom with
Enemies:
Kaido: Kaido will attack using his club in the first round of the fight, and in the second round of the fight, he will be in his dragon form and will shoot fireballs at luffy. Big Mom: During the first round of the fight Big Mom will use her sword and will slash the air which will fly toward the playable character, in the second round, she will have her sun and cloud throw fireballs at the player.

Kaido Fight: An intense music that sounds like doom dut da da over and over
SFX: A blast sound when Kaido’s fireball makes contact; A swiping sound when Big
Mom’s sword slashes make contact
Backgrounds:
The Kaido fight occurs on the top of a roof on an island flying through the air, which will use parallax scrolling with the clouds and the mountains in the distance.
Sprite Palette Change:
Luffy’s gear 5 transformation changes the color of his clothes and will therefore need a new palette for the second round of the fight.
